Editor's review
This is tool for extracting images from PDF documents.
Some PDF Images Extract application helps capture images from PDF documents. These could be saved in JPEG, PNG, GIF or TIFF as well as other file formats. There are no limitations on the number of images you would like to extract. This is a standalone program and does not need any other program to be present on your machine; not even the Acrobat tools. The interface is simple and most users will be able to master the tool quite easily. It has a batch conversion capability. You will be able to select a batch of files that will be processed by the tool one after the other automatically. The interface has two progress bars. One shows the progress of individual files while the other indicates the progress of the overall batch. It will be able to handle encrypted files. It will request the password when the processing starts; rest is up to the application.
This tool is compatible with PDF 1.3/1.4/1.5/1.6/1.7, from Adobe Acrobat 3.x to Adobe Acrobat X. Full documents need not be selected for processing. You can only choose the part you want to process. The batch list shows you some useful details besides the filenames. These are the file size, creation date, etc. You could be sure that you have been able to collect the right files. You would be able to proceed with the extraction without worries. This is a good tool. You could try it out if you have a need.
